In 2010, the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention convened a consensus expert committee that would lead and prioritize Zero Suicide in Healthcare. The framework for change from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement shows some of the various roles required to drive this innovation.
There were a number of additional key influencers who helped craft the Suicide Care in Systems Framework document in 2011, and/or who were instrumental in the early years of developing the toolkit and outcomes.
